    The DB24 2025.4 release marks a major milestone with the introduction of AiQ (Aggregated Instance Quality), a scoring system that helps you understand the health of your SQL Server environments in one clear, unified view.

    Key updates:

    • New AiQ (Aggregated Instance Quality) scoring system with baselines, trends, and actionable insights
    • Reworked Portal Dashboard with modular widgets and performance-focused navigation
    • Multiple fixes across Runtime, Portal, and Core for better accuracy and resilience

    New DB24 License Key system

    Existing customers must update to the new license key model – contact DB24 Support if you haven't received yours yet.

    🌟 Spotlight: AiQ (Aggregated Instance Quality)

    Aggregated Instance Quality (AiQ) provides a clear, unified score for each of your SQL Server instances.

    • Daily Scoring: Once per day, DB24 calculates an AiQ score for every instance
    • Wide-Ranging Metrics: Scores are based on grouped parameters across subcategories
    • Action-Oriented: AiQ highlights where improvements can be made
    • Baseline & Trends: 4-week deltas show whether an instance is improving or regressing

    • Runtime - SQL Server Version Parser: Fixed inconsistencies with older SQL Server builds
    • Portal - Memory Usage Report: Corrected data sourcing issues
    • Runtime - Instance Information Stability: Replaced truncation with merge updates
    • Runtime - Filespace Check on wrong volume: Corrected disk-space validation logic
