    • Pre-Installation Check Application
      A standalone validation tool that ensures environments meet system requirements before installation.

    • SQL Server 2012 Compatibility
      Adjustments now allow full support for SQL Server 2012 runtimes and Datastore.

    • Run DB24.Api as a Windows Service
      Improves security, isolation, and deployment flexibility by removing reliance on IIS hosting and installed .NET versions.

    • Validate Mixed Mode Authentication
      Ensures SQL Server Authentication is enabled for DB24.Api connectivity.

    • Service Account Format Validation
      Enforces correct NetBIOS format (domainName\loginName) to prevent installation errors.


    Portal – Usability and Performance Enhancements

    • Add Metadata to Instances
      Allows custom notes, tags, and key-value pairs to be attached to instances.

    • Remove User Also Removes Email Subscriptions
      Automatically deletes notification settings when a user is removed.

    • Dashboard Pie Charts with Report Links
      Pie charts now link directly to detailed reports.

      Optimized rendering for large datasets with a strong focus on performance.

    Installer Stability Improvements

    • Installer Failure When wwwroot Defaults to Another Drive
      The installer now dynamically detects and adjusts the wwwroot location.

    • Preserve Existing Portal-App IIS Site During Upgrade
      Prevents accidental removal of custom IIS configurations during upgrades.

    • Runtime Update Failure with Non-English Default Language
      Fixed date conversion issues that caused UpdateInstanceInfo failures.


    Core and Datastore Reliability Fixes

    • Changes with NULL DatabaseName Excluded from Collection
      Fix ensures all changes are properly audited.

    • JobLog Collection Excluding “In-Progress” Jobs
      A 24-hour margin was added to ensure active jobs are collected and tracked correctly in the Datastore.
